Super Mario Bros. Wonder Looks Incredible.



Well, we finally got a much better look at Mario's latest 2D adventure, and yeah, guys,..


I'm beginning to think Mario is back.


By that, I mean that the plumber is returning to his throne as the rightful king of the platformers at the top of the hill. It's been so so, very long since we've had a 2D Mario game that has blown our socks off. Hell, Super Mario Bros. 3 was nearly four decades ago. World isn't far behind on that either. 

But we're finally here and it damn, it feels good. Everything about this game, from the art style, to the level design, to the new power ups, to how many freaking characters we're gonna be able to play as. They went all out and I'm extremely excited that they did. The Mario franchise as a whole has needed a new breath of fresh air in it for awhile, an coupled with the movie, this exactly what we needed. 

The game is freaking gorgeous. Every single level we've seen so far has been stellar in the visual department. They've really stepped it up here. 

The new enemies are wonderfully designed and a lot of classic Mario enemies have reverted back to their classic designs. I'm over the moon about that. 

Also, the badge system is a freaking awesome addition and it makes me shocked that they didn't do that sooner. It's straight from the Mario and Luigi series. Great idea, speedrunners are going to absolutely destroy this game with some of these abilities. I cannot wait to see how inventive people get with them. 


I have much, much more to say. But I'd like to see the new gameplay coming out this weekend, as well as the possibility of even more details in this imminent Nintendo Direct before I share my full thoughts. We have a few crazy weeks ahead of us. Stay tuned.

  Sigh. I hate this type of stuff. Genuinely. Drama is something that stresses me out. I'm simply sharing information here. I have no beef nor any rivalry with anyone else that does this type of thing.  I've been made aware of some tweets that were made by famous SEGA/Atlus Insider, Midori.  In it, she makes some bold claims, claiming that I know one of her sources and that me/and or my sources are one in the same, and/or that I've STOLEN information.  No genuine offense to Midori, but these claims are absolutely baseless and simply untrue.  If I were to make a guess, I would say that she just noticed the undeniable similarities in our information and just panicked.  I can confidently say with a hundred percent certainty: We DO NOT share sources.  I've obviously been in this game much longer than she has, and the things I have gotten right over the years speak for themselves.  Some things to make abundantly clear:  I have been hearing about a new Phantasy Star game FOR

Nintendo Direct Watch Season Begins NOW.

We're starting 2024 with a bang. Didn't expect that, did ya?  Yup, I'm hearing from the usual sources that Nintendo is planning a Direct to air this very month. It could air from this coming week, to the end of the month.  Expect this to be "cleanup" for the Switch. Nintendo has been pretty silent since September, so expect more details on Paper Mario, Peach Showtime and a few other things. There's still a few surprises left in this old thing.  They have an obviously insane   of them, so it's smart to get Switch stuff out of the way earlier than usual this year.  Stay tuned here for more.

Mario Kart X Will Release In 2025.

Now that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass has finally come to an end, in spectacular fashion I might add, now the question being asked is "Well, what's next?"  Well, I finally have some more insight on that. The tenth (no, not ninth) installment of the Mario Kart series will release in 2025, which will be Switch 2's second year on the market. The intention is to release the title sometime before the system's second holiday on the market.  The title is being developed primarily by Nintendo EPD Production Group 9, with Bandai Namco Studios once again co-developing.  Additionally, Nintendo are sparring absolutely no expense with this game. This is apparently one of the most expensive games Nintendo has ever put into production. The next 3D Mario title is said to be "absolutely dropping" and this apparently looks even better.
