If people came here expecting me to deliver an epic mic drop or something, then you're gonna be disappointed.  It's 9am in the morning, I'm exhausted. Being a parent means you're always tired. 


That said. I'm happy and very excited that this is happening this week. I'm super eager to see more of the game and 15 minutes of new details is more than enough for me. 

Some questions you're no doubt asking:


"Are we still getting a general Direct in September?"

Yes! Of course!


"Will the direct still have a big focus on Mario?"

Yes! 


"Did RGT "just commenting for engagement" 85 just get his dumb ass embarrassed again for the entire Internet to see?"

You're goddamn right he did.

    They still have Mario RPG, Princess Peach Game, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, and another wave of MK8D DLC...don't know how people could think there *won't* be a general direct with tons of Mario stuff...

    Maybe it's impossible, but I really hope to see a PM:TTYD and Super Paper Mario Remasters for Switch.

The Next 3D Mario Is Ready To Go.

  2024 is here, and after an insanely long six years of waiting, I'm now hearing that the next 3D Mario, set to launch with Nintendo's brand spankin' new console, was finished over the holiday season. This is standard Nintendo practice, many of their big games are done well before release. As was said before, this is EPD Tokyo's first full attempt at an open world game, and the game is said to look " Absolutely jaw-dropping". I can confirm a few other new things as well: Donkey Kong will appear in the game in some form. I'm unsure if he's playable, a boss, or an extended cameo of some sort. Given how Mario and DK have appeared as a pair in pretty much everything as of late, which includes the movie, LEGO sets, a remake of Mario Vs. Nintendo Direct Watch Season Begins NOW.

We're starting 2024 with a bang. Didn't expect that, did ya?  Yup, I'm hearing from the usual sources that Nintendo is planning a Direct to air this very month. It could air from this coming week, to the end of the month.  Expect this to be "cleanup" for the Switch. Nintendo has been pretty silent since September, so expect more details on Paper Mario, Peach Showtime and a few other things. There's still a few surprises left in this old thing.  They have an obviously insane   of them, so it's smart to get Switch stuff out of the way earlier than usual this year.  Stay tuned here for more.

Mario Kart X Will Release In 2025.

Now that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass has finally come to an end, in spectacular fashion I might add, now the question being asked is "Well, what's next?"  Well, I finally have some more insight on that. The tenth (no, not ninth) installment of the Mario Kart series will release in 2025, which will be Switch 2's second year on the market. The intention is to release the title sometime before the system's second holiday on the market.  The title is being developed primarily by Nintendo EPD Production Group 9, with Bandai Namco Studios once again co-developing.  Additionally, Nintendo are sparring absolutely no expense with this game. This is apparently one of the most expensive games Nintendo has ever put into production. The next 3D Mario title is said to be "absolutely dropping" and this apparently looks even better.
