Persona 3 Reload: Early Impressions.




There it is. Today was already nuts, then Atlus does as only fucking Atlus does and makes a big oopsie. 


The Persona 3 remake leaked and the trailer is literally everywhere online now, ahead of it's official reveal at Xbox's show on Sunday. 


It looks absolutely gorgeous, I'm liking how faithful it is to the original while featuring that modern Atlus flair, the character design has a huge step up across the board, and it's easy to see why Unreal Engine just works really well with Atlus games. 


For whatever reason, the visuals and all of the minor artistic changes are making some people really fucking angry right now. I genuinely don't understand the issue here. These changes are so minor that most people won't even think about them 10 minutes after starting up the game. This isn't directed towards everyone of course, but man, some of these hardcore Persona nuts are some of the most entitled, close minded, nitpicky people I've ever seen in action. It's like their entire character is being fucking unhappy. I don't get it. If you prefer the original, it's right there, on your PS2.


Anyway, Persona fans are eating good right now.  There's more good stuff on the way.  

To reiterate, this is coming to Switch as well. Don't know if that will be announced Sunday or at Nintendo's next direct, but it will be announced soon enough.


Also, yes, once again, the Akechi game is real and I'm hoping that's announced before too long.

    Thanks for saying that again, P3 is nice but seeing how P5 gets a boring spin-off, I really wanna hope for that Akechi game to do a worthwhile story

  Sigh. I hate this type of stuff. Genuinely. Drama is something that stresses me out. I'm simply sharing information here. Nintendo Direct Watch Season Begins NOW.

We're starting 2024 with a bang. Didn't expect that, did ya?  Yup, I'm hearing from the usual sources that Nintendo is planning a Direct to air this very month. It could air from this coming week, to the end of the month.  Expect this to be "cleanup" for the Switch. Nintendo has been pretty silent since September, so expect more details on Paper Mario, Peach Showtime and a few other things. There's still a few surprises left in this old thing.  They have an obviously insane   of them, so it's smart to get Switch stuff out of the way earlier than usual this year.  Stay tuned here for more.

Mario Kart X Will Release In 2025.

Now that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass has finally come to an end, in spectacular fashion I might add, now the question being asked is "Well, what's next?"  Well, I finally have some more insight on that. The tenth (no, not ninth) installment of the Mario Kart series will release in 2025, which will be Switch 2's second year on the market. The intention is to release the title sometime before the system's second holiday on the market.  The title is being developed primarily by Nintendo EPD Production Group 9, with Bandai Namco Studios once again co-developing.  Additionally, Nintendo are sparring absolutely no expense with this game. This is apparently one of the most expensive games Nintendo has ever put into production. The next 3D Mario title is said to be "absolutely dropping" and this apparently looks even better.
