Pit Flies Again. Kid Icarus Uprising Is Getting A Remaster.
I told you I had more scoops. This one is a big one.
Kid Icarus Uprising is absolutely one of my favorite games of all time. The gameplay, story, voice acting, and excellent soundtrack has remained a part of me since I first played it a decade ago and I've replayed it many, many times since then. I treasure this game dearly.
You'll be happy to hear that a full remaster of the game is in development at Bandai Namco. There will be a new, much more accessible control scheme and the visuals are getting a much-needed boost.
There is one snag, however. The game's multiplayer mode will return, but will reportedly be running on Bamco's legendarily awful netcode. If you've played any of Bamco's games online before (Smash, FighterZ, Tekken 7), you'll know how disappointing this piece of news is.
Here's hoping that aspect changes before release.
Regardless, that's yet another beloved, long requested Nintendo game coming to Switch. I for one could not be more excited.
This remaster is due for release sometime next year.
hi, i kindly request a new Sonic Frontiers scoop please (hopefully some info on Amy and whenever or not she's playable)
ReplyDeleteIs it possible for you to show these two videos to the staff at Bandai-Namco to see what they think?

Power System full coverage (VERY extensive):

Oh, and yeah, the thumbnail for the latter is from my demonstration about Power Thief, where I accidently invoked Poison Attack first in case you're wondering about the Poison Attack icon.
I should also mention that I had learned after making the 2nd video that Celestial Fireworks counts towards the 3 Active Buffs Rule, but since most Celestial Fireworks flowchart is not going to involve having 3 Buffs in the first place, this isn't an acceptable check and balance against its abuses. I'll also cite for reference that I can be sure that Mega Laser's Cancel actually would be fair if it actually used the charge and was signalled to the opponent, simply because ML already uses a full line on the Power Grid.
But anyway, I'm hoping that Bandai-Namco is listening to the input I provide in both of those videos.
i don't give a damn about this conversation about the bandai database i've never had any problem playing their games the comparison means WHATEVER but anyways this post is just one of several internet rumors has nothing confirmed show your sources or something like that your asshole this blog is kind of shit to allow you to send a stupid rumor like that.
ReplyDeleteYESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! This game really needed another port to shine! A lot of people missed out on the original because of the controls giving them hand cramps.
ReplyDeleteAnd would you look at that! Today Sakurai hinted at the port you mentioned.
