Well...this is probably gonna break the internet. Yup. The beloved, masterful SNES masterpiece, Chrono Trigger, is getting a FULL remake. In HD 2D. Details are scant at the moment, but it is coming to Nintendo Switch, not sure about other platforms at the moment. A new Nintendo Direct will likely be airing in about 48 hours. I don't know when this is being announced, but we can hope and pray that it's announced there. Chrono Trigger is absolutely one of the greatest pieces of art to ever grace this planet. I cannot wait to see this in action. My god. I am shaking from excitement. Update: A few more details.  Co-creators Akira Toriyama, Yuji Hori, Hironobu Sakaguchi and Yoshinori Kitase are all involved in this remake in some way, likely in supervisor positions. Square, from what I'm hearing, apparently were not gonna do this remake unless they had all of the original heads involved in this.  So yeah, you can say Square is getting the band back together. One last ride.

Mario Kart X Will Release In 2025.

Now that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass has finally come to an end, in spectacular fashion I might add, now the question being asked is "Well, what's next?"  Well, I finally have some more insight on that. The tenth (no, not ninth) installment of the Mario Kart series will release in 2025, which will be Switch 2's second year on the market. The intention is to release the title sometime before the system's second holiday on the market.  The title is being developed primarily by Nintendo EPD Production Group 9, with Bandai Namco Studios once again co-developing.  Additionally, Nintendo are sparring absolutely no expense with this game. This is apparently one of the most expensive games Nintendo has ever put into production. The next 3D Mario title is said to be "absolutely dropping" and this apparently looks even better. The game's visual fidelity is said to be a very high priority for them, meaning the game is gonna look good, damn goo...

The Next 3D Mario Is Ready To Go.

  2024 is here, and after an insanely long six years of waiting, I'm now hearing that the next 3D Mario, set to launch with Nintendo's brand spankin' new console, was finished over the holiday season. This is standard Nintendo practice, many of their big games are done well before release. As was said before, this is EPD Tokyo's first full attempt at an open world game, and the game is said to look " Absolutely jaw-dropping". I can confirm a few other new things as well: Donkey Kong will appear in the game in some form. I'm unsure if he's playable, a boss, or an extended cameo of some sort. Given how Mario and DK have appeared as a pair in pretty much everything as of late, which includes the movie, LEGO sets, a remake of Mario Vs. DK, and now in theme park promotions, it only makes sense to continue that trend.  Luigi, Peach, Captain Toad and Pauline will all appear as well, though I'm unsure what roles they'll play in the game.  The other, mu...
