Well...this is probably gonna break the internet. Yup. The beloved, masterful SNES masterpiece, Chrono Trigger, is getting a FULL remake. In HD 2D. Details are scant at the moment, but it is coming to Nintendo Switch, not sure about other platforms at the moment. A new Nintendo Direct will likely be airing in about 48 hours. I don't know when this is being announced, but we can hope and pray that it's announced there. Chrono Trigger is absolutely one of the greatest pieces of art to ever grace this planet. I cannot wait to see this in action. My god. I am shaking from excitement. Update: A few more details.  Co-creators Akira Toriyama, Yuji Hori, Hironobu Sakaguchi and Yoshinori Kitase are all involved in this remake in some way, likely in supervisor positions. Square, from what I'm hearing, apparently were not gonna do this remake unless they had all of the original heads involved in this.  So yeah, you can say Square is getting the band back together. Mario Kart X Will Release In 2025.

Now that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass has finally come to an end, in spectacular fashion I might add, now the question being asked is "Well, what's next?"  Well, I finally have some more insight on that. The tenth (no, not ninth) installment of the Mario Kart series will release in 2025, which will be Switch 2's second year on the market. The intention is to release the title sometime before the system's second holiday on the market.  The title is being developed primarily by Nintendo EPD Production Group 9, with Bandai Namco Studios once again co-developing.  Additionally, Nintendo are sparring absolutely no expense with this game. This is apparently one of the most expensive games Nintendo has ever put into production. The next 3D Mario title is said to be "absolutely dropping" and this apparently looks even better. The game's visual fidelity is said to be a very high priority for them, meaning the game is gonna look good, damn goo...

Why Nintendo's 2021 Is A Sequel To 2019 (Part 1)

Finally, I promised this article awhile ago, it's time to finally get this going, as I said, this isn't going become a Sonic blog, I promise! lmao. While we're still waiting for announcements from SEGA on that... Let's get on to a much bigger player here, Nintendo. I decided to wait on the article a bit longer because I was curious to see how sales would turn out, and unsurprisingly, the usual suspects have become even bigger juggernauts, with no signs of slowing down. Mario Kart has remained the king of Nintendo sales, and I'll be elaborating on it's future a bit below, I'll also give  bit of what I know about BOTW2, but it's nothing most haven't heard already. 2021 is what I consider to be a pretty crazy year for Nintendo. They've handled this pandemic in particular just about as well as they could have, and the fruits of their resilience this year is already showing. This year is packed with quality and quantity.
