  Hey, everyone, Happy Tuesday! We have a milestone to celebrate, but that'll come in the very next article. Let's talk about that incredible Direct. I'll be honest, outside of E3, that might now be my favorite Direct, ever. I've watched it 15 times or so now. There were so many cool announcements and so many genuine surprises. I had to wait a bit on this article because I was waiting on some news to come in, that'll be at the end of the article. My fucking jaw literally dropped. I  could not believe what I was seeing. When I first heard about this new Mario sports game a few months ago, I figured "Well, it'll probably be baseball, that's cool, but..." Fuck that. My dream came true, I got the one that I wanted, and it looks fucking incredible. We have a ton to talk about, so I'll be back soon to talk about this awesome Direct, Mario Kart, and everything surrounding it, but this had to get posted first. Catch me on the field.

Hey everyone, okay, I'm sure you know the deal on how this works by now.  I'm gonna run through some predictions, let's get started.  Splatoon 3 Date: I strongly believe that this will happen. We'll get an overview of the game's base content, including more of the campaign, and then the release date. I'm predicting this will be June.  Advance Wars Date: This is another one that's almost guaranteed to be here. I'm genuinely looking forward to this and I'm loving the visuals for these remakes. Given how much content both games squeezed into those two GBA cartridges, 60 bucks is real good value. April release. No Breath Of The Wild 2: I know some fans will be disappointed, but I don't think Zelda has even a small chance here. They're playing the waiting game and they'll use June as their opportunity to do a full blowout of the game. I'm really not very good at these kinds of things, but here goes. It's been 365 days since I created the blog, and it's truly been a wild ride. I've gotten to meet and see so many different types of people in this last year, so many people that I was well aware of for many years became aware of me, which is absolutely insane. Here we are, 52 weeks later, with almost a million views, and I don't even know what I'm doing half the time.   Ya know, sometimes I really, really don't understand Nintendo, as a company, or as a developer. This is one of those times. 1-2 Switch is one of the most dull, lifeless, forgettable games I have ever played, and yet, it's getting a sequel for some reason. It sold well, I think? Usually when I do a scoop, it's usually a game I'm interested in. This is not one of those games.  This year really is going to be 2017-2, isn't it?

Well, here we are, a new month, and it's time to do what we do every year, overhype a video game commercial. But seriously, yes, I'm hearing that the first Direct of the year will take place this month and could be as soon as next week. This week is being ruled out because of Nintendo's imminent financial briefings. Let me go out and say it... It's gonna be a big one.  I'm not sure of the content at this point in time, but it's safe to assume that Kirby And The Forgotten Land, Splatoon 3, Advance Wars 1+2, the heavily rumored Xenoblade 3, and a new Fire Emblem title will likely be featured in this one. Nintendo has a metric shit ton to talk about, so I expect some huge bombs to be dropped in this presentation. Also, if you made Super Bowl sized money bets on this new Mario Kart not being real, you're going to be out of a lot of money. Start your engines.
