Season's greetings. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to every single one of you. If you don't celebrate anything, I hope you have a wonderful day and I wish you all a happy, safe new year. I'm going to be a father in a few months, so I'm gonna just relax and enjoy some video games today with my loved ones. Expect articles about Spidey, Star Wars, and whatnot before the year ends, and Nintendo, Sonic and MegaMan scoops from me early into the year. Consider it a late Christmas present. Hey, everyone. Just saying, you guys are insane. Those Persona articles have caused over 150K people to visit the blog in the last week, like wow. I had no idea Persona fans were so ravenous, I can't blame you, I'm right there with you. Bring on these long awaited ports. With that out of the way, it's time for my very first Dragon Ball article. Some background. I'm a huge, and I mean, huge Dragon Ball fan, and i have been almost my entire life. The characters, stories, art, and music have all had a profound impact, in my life in a deeply spiritual sense, and I genuinely don't know where I would be without Toriyama's master work. Dragon Ball Battle of Gods was absolutely incredible and it's one of my favorite movies of all time now. That said, Dragon Ball Super was one of the biggest rollercoasters of my recent life. We're not done yet. So, in my last Persona "article", (Which is being generous, it was one sentence LMAO), you'll notice that I posted *four* Ws. Why four, you ask? It was a hint. Very few, and I mean, very few people picked up on it. Given that the article blew the fuck up for some unknown reason, I scoured the internet, and I could only find eight people who went "hey, those four Ws probably mean something". Congrats, all eight of you get Prognostication Cookies. So yes, in addition to Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden is coming to consoles, which of course, includes Switch. Which one is coming first? Don't know. Why did these take so long? Atlus. Look forward to those in 2022. That's three of the seven announcements down, four to go. There's sure to be more surprises on the way in the coming year. Stay tuned.

Another TGA comes and goes. Geoff hypes it up as the best thing since sliced bread. People complain. He does it and tricks everyone again 12 months later. Second verse, same as the first. He's a salesman and he's got an excuse for everything.  I won't mence words here. This was a bad awards show. To even call it that is being extremely generous. This was a THREE AND A HALF HOUR slogfest. I was in a Discord call with my friends and we all checked out multiple times. John Campea rightfully called out that there wasn't a single award given out for 27 minutes. Twenty. Seven. Minutes. What is thing called again? Almost none of the celebrity presenters, with the exception of Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey and everyone's favorite milf, Ming Na Wen, felt genuine.  The talented developers who were fortunate enough to go on stage were quickly shoved off of it.   Well. Here we are. The next Sonic game has been revealed, and while I need a bit more time before I can commit to a full article, this is definitely pretty much what we expected. Right off the top, the game looks absolutely stunning. The environments look full of detail and I'm excited to just run around and explore it. I will say, the game doesn't exactly scream "Sonic" to me, so far. You could throw any character in there and it would be the same issue. Morio Kishimoto is once again the director, and that is a huge red flag. Regardless, there's a lot about this to be positive about. Also, Ian Flynn being confirmed as the writer of the game is a huge W and I'm all about it. A Sonic game is going to have a quality story and that's big news.  I'm somewhat optimistic, but very, very cautious. More soon. 

  Holy shit. That was easily one of the absolute best trailers I've seen for a movie in quite some time. This movie has it all. Tails, Knuckles, the Tornado, the Master Emerald. It looks to be a faithful adaptation of both Sonic 2 and 3, and I'm fucking jazzed about it. Tails and Knux look exactly how they should, and Jim Carrey looks like he's going to kill it, again.  I'll have my full thoughts on everything soon, but man, they may have knocked it out of the park this time.

Hey all, we have a very good week ahead of us, but first, this needs to be done.  This is Mark. He's an extremely talented artist and content creator. He does this for a living. I watch every last one of his videos and he's a joy to listen to. Toei Animation decided to do what they do best and delete his entire catalog of Dragon Ball videos? Why? Who fucking knows. TA has had a long, storied history of coming and trying to ruin content creat...no, longtime fans making creative, memorable entertainment based on their works of art, and their  livelyhoods. The people running this company are evil, old, grumpy, greedy, hardened scumbags that would sacrifice literally everything to keep their fortunes. We have something called "Fair Fucking Use" for a reason. Call this shit out. Stop defending these CEOs and more importantly, these corporations. YouTube and Toei are corporations that have tried everything to stamp out anyone who calls them out. They are not your friends
