Zippo's Nonsensical Ramblings and Other Stuff

Yes. It's finally happening. One of the best GameCube games of all time is making a comeback Star Fox Assault is getting a remaster from it's original developer, Bandai Namco Studios.  Nintendo saw the demand and they're finally effing doing it.  Everything I've heard has lead me to believe that this remaster is related to one of BN's job postings from two years back.  Expect the usual: -60 FPS, gorgeous 1080P visuals.  -Newly added online play alongside the usual 4 player split screen action.  -This remaster features new content of some sort, as well as amiibo support.  -Nintendo has been sitting on this since at least the start of the year.  -Alongside this remaster, there is a brand new Star Fox game in development at Nintendo EPD, as well as several multimedia Star Fox projects.   Here's the second part. I may do a third part or a "true" finale to this in the future if I come up with more ideas and talking points. Star Fox is a franchise that is completely near and dear to my very being and I want them to nail this so this is a healthy franchise. I believe in the team.  Smash: This is pretty self explanatory, but giving Star Fox additional representation in terms of new characters, stages, music, and whatnot would really go to show newcomers exactly what is so appealing about the franchise and what they're missing out on. I know many people myself who got into Star Fox due to both Melee and Brawl. Keep the strong representation going  Emphasis on Online Multiplayer: Star Fox 64 and Star Fox Assault are both very well known and regarded for their 4 player competitive modes.
